  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make meatballs in a frying pan? Prepare your food. You can make the meatballs from purchased minced meat, or you can make it yourself at home. If the minced meat is frozen, defrost it first. I made it with minced pork. For frying, you can use vegetable oil instead of butter.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the onions and rinse with tap water. Cut the onion into two parts, then chop each into small cubes. Alternatively, you can grate the onion on a coarse grater or beat it in a chopper.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Transfer the minced meat to a deep plate, add chopped onion, stir. Add black pepper and salt to taste. You can add your favorite spices.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add a raw egg to the minced meatballs. Stir the minced meat with your hands until smooth. If you stir with a spoon, the desired consistency will not be achieved. You can also beat the minced meat in a bowl, it will become even more homogeneous. To do this, forcefully throw a lump of minced meat into a bowl from a short distance.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

For breading you will need sifted wheat flour. Form the minced meat into meatballs. Unlike ordinary cutlets, the meatballs are made round and small in size. To prevent the minced meat from sticking to your hands, wet them with cold water. Roll the meatballs in flour on all sides.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Melt the butter in a frying pan over low heat, place the meatballs and fry them until golden brown on both sides. Keep an eye on the heat; the butter may burn if the heat is too high. To ensure that the meatballs are fully cooked inside, cover them with a lid at the end of cooking and leave for 5 minutes.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Serve the meatballs with a side dish. If they turn out greasy, place them on a paper towel - it will absorb excess fat. Mashed potatoes, pasta and buckwheat are good as a side dish. Bon appetit!

Previously, when I came to some canteen or cafe, I always chose meatballs. Therefore, after seeing this recipe on the website, I decided to make the meatballs at home. The cooking technology turned out to be very simple, and the set of products was minimal - minced meat, onion, egg, salt, pepper, flour, vegetable oil for frying. Having made the minced meat, I beat it, collecting it into a lump and hitting it on the bottom of the bowl so that the balls would better hold their shape. Then I formed the balls. It took me 1.5 tbsp for each. spoons of minced meat. Usually one of these bits is enough for me to satisfy my hunger. I fried the meatballs in a frying pan in well-heated oil for 6 minutes on each side until golden brown. I simmered for another 5 minutes under the lid on low heat. The meatballs were a great success, they turned out soft, juicy and very tasty! Their consistency is more elastic than cutlets or meatballs. Thank you so much for the recipe!
