Marinated tomatoes with plums and basil
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Prepare everything for preparing the product. Sterilize the jars in a way convenient for you, boil the lids for 2-3 minutes. Wash and dry the tomatoes and plums.
STEP 2

Place spices at the bottom of clean, sterilized jars. In each jar, a couple of sprigs of fresh basil, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 allspice peas, 5 black peppercorns, 1 bay leaf, dill umbrella and 5 coriander seeds. You can choose other spices that suit your taste.
STEP 3

In jars filled with spices, add tomatoes, which we first pierce in the area of the stalk with a toothpick, and plums in layers. Having filled the jar to the end, pour boiling water over it and leave the tomatoes and plums to warm up for 20 minutes.
STEP 4

After the time has passed, drain the water from all the jars into a separate pan and prepare a brine based on it. Add salt and sugar to the water, put the brine on the stove and boil for 5 minutes, add vinegar and boil for another 2 minutes. Pour the hot marinade into the jars, immediately roll them up, turn them over and wrap them until they cool completely.
STEP 5

After cooling, we store this delicious, aromatic preparation in the pantry or cellar. Marinated tomatoes with plums are ready for the winter! Bon appetit!
