  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make fluffy kefir pancakes in a frying pan? Prepare everything you need for this. I use 3% fat kefir. But you can take any other one. In order for the pancakes to be fluffy, all the ingredients must be at room temperature. Kefir can be slightly warmed in the microwave.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the pancake dough, take a comfortable, spacious bowl. Break an egg into a bowl and add sugar and salt. The amount of sugar can be changed to suit your taste. Whisk everything a little with a whisk until the mixture becomes homogeneous.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then stir in the prepared kefir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sift flour and soda through a sieve to saturate with oxygen. Add flour to the bowl and knead the dough. Use the amount of flour based on the consistency of the dough. It may take a little more or less.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

The finished dough will be quite thick. It will slowly drip from the whisk.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and spoon out the dough. Cook the pancakes over low heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

When cooked slowly, they will rise well and have time to cook inside. When the pancakes are golden brown, transfer them to a paper towel to remove excess oil.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Lush kefir pancakes are ready! Serve them with any jam, condensed milk or sour cream. Bon appetit!

Good afternoon The recipe is wonderful, the pancakes turned out fluffy, soft and literally melt in your mouth. This is the second time I’ve made your recipe. To add variety to the serving, you can add a little less sugar - about 1.5 tsp, so you can serve it both with a sweet - jam / condensed milk, and with a savory snack - lightly salted fish / caviar.
