I was looking for a recipe for a pie with cherry filling and saw on the website a Lenten grated pie with cherries. I was very interested in the recipe. I have already made the dough for grated pie using vegetable oil, but with the addition of eggs and kefir. But this recipe contains neither eggs nor milk, so I decided to try it. And you can see the result in the photo. The pie turned out very tasty and aromatic, and also budget-friendly. My only deviation from the recipe is in the filling. I pre-boiled the cherries with sugar and starch so that the filling was thick and did not flow during baking. I'm happy with the recipe and recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much to the author for the recipe!

For the first time I made Lenten grated pie with cherries. For the filling I used gooseberries, currants and apples. Pre-boiled with sugar and strained to remove excess liquid. There was no time to wait for the dough to harden for decoration, so I made “sausages”
