I would like to add to the recipe that I ran out of sauerkraut, which I had prepared for the winter, but that’s okay, I boiled fresh cabbage and put the filling in it. And to add sourness to the tolma, I diluted the tomato paste not with water, but with cucumber brine. To prevent the tolma from boiling, I put pressure on top (in my case, an inverted plate with a half-liter jar of water).
