Lazy liver pie with vegetables and sour cream filling

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

LIVER MASS: Pass the liver through a meat grinder or chop with a blender. Add milk.
STEP 2

Add semolina.
STEP 3

Stir and leave for half an hour for the semolina to swell.
STEP 4

VEGETABLE MASS: Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Place in a frying pan with oil and fry over low heat, stirring.
STEP 5

Peel and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Add to onions. Simmer the vegetables over low heat until tender, stirring.
STEP 6

At the end of cooking, add salt, pepper, and cool.
STEP 7

PIE: Salt and pepper the liver mass, mix with a whisk. Grease a 26 cm diameter mold with butter. Place half of the liver.
STEP 8

Place the vegetables and press lightly with a spatula.
STEP 9

Place the other half of the liver and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
STEP 10

FILLING: Combine sour cream and egg, beat with a whisk.
STEP 11

Pour over the liver and bake in the oven for another 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
STEP 12

Bake until nicely browned. Let cool slightly and serve. It is especially delicious when served cold. You can decorate with greenery or as you wish.
