Khachapuri from grated potatoes with cheese and garlic

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, crush the garlic with a press.
STEP 2
Divide the cheese in half. Add egg and herbs to one half. Spread this mixture on top of the casserole to form a crust.
STEP 3
Mix the second egg and remaining cheese with garlic and mayonnaise. This is the preparation for the casserole itself. I always prepare it before I start grating the potatoes, because I don’t like it when the potatoes start to darken. Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater and add to the preparation. Salt and pepper.
STEP 4
Place in a baking dish. In the photo - shape Ø26cm.
STEP 5
Place the reserved cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface.
STEP 6
Bake in a preheated oven at 180* for 40 minutes.
STEP 7
