Julia Child's pancake recipe
Awesome pancakes - you will love them from the first minute!!! Ever since the book “Voila! Culinary Wisdom from Julia Child” fell into my hands, I became more interested in French cuisine, and I prepared these pancakes according to her recipe, they turned out right away, and there was no “pancake lumpy”)))
Since then, I’ve been preparing them this way only and I want to share this recipe with you. The pancakes turn out very thin and elastic, and of course, delicious!

A good recipe for pancakes, but I would advise not to add flour to the milk mixture, but on the contrary, pour milk into the flour in small portions, stirring constantly, this way lumps simply do not form

I made it according to Julia Child's recipe, in this order, but advised not to beat it too much and put it in the refrigerator so that the flour particles are well absorbed

And I would also like to add that now many people beat the dough with a blender, quickly, conveniently and effectively, but I would advise you to take Child’s advice and still beat with a regular whisk

Thank you, girls, for the advice and especially for the recipe. They turned out so yellow, I wonder if they came from domestic eggs? I previously added vegetable oil to the pancake dough and lubricated it with butter. You suggested a completely new option for me and I like it))) All that’s left to do is start and do it!

Thank you, I actually used homemade eggs, and by adding butter to the dough, the pan needs to be greased just a little bit

Thanks for the recipe, the only thing I did was add a little sugar. Pancakes are simply delicious when it's sizzling hot!

I am very glad that you prepared this recipe, and you liked the result, the pancakes are really in the original recipe without sugar, so if there is not enough, add it, I add it to the filling
