I wanted to bake something sweet for tea and immediately went to the website. I saw a beautiful pie in my feed and realized that I would make it today. I took all the necessary ingredients to make an Italian crostata pie. I liked making shortcrust pastry using a blender. This was the first such experience. Previously, I always prepared shortcrust pastry by hand. I used quince jam, but when I rolled out the dough and put it in the mold, I realized that the available quantity would not be enough. Therefore, I first laid out a thin layer of quince jam (I took jam from the same fruit, so as not to interfere with the flavors), and laid the jam on top and spread it over the entire surface. I also took advantage of the recommendation to lay strips of parchment paper in the mold to make it easier to get the finished pie . I’ll take this life hack into account. I decorated the pie and baked it. The crostata turned out beautiful and fragrant. I had to hide it from the children to let it cool down. This is a fantastic treat with tea.
