I liked the composition of the imperial salad and wanted to cook it for dinner. Only I didn’t lay it out in layers, but mixed all the ingredients so that all the products were well saturated with mayonnaise. I pickled the red onion the night before. To do this, I added salt, sugar and apple cider vinegar to the chopped onions. She put everything in a jar and shook it. For the salad I didn’t use a chicken breast, but a thigh. I separated the boiled meat into fibers with my hands. For the pancakes, I took two eggs and fried them in a large frying pan. The pancakes fry perfectly and don’t stick. A very tasty salad! Juicy, tender and satisfying. Pickled onions have a pleasant crunch and add an interesting sourness. My husband and son also liked this salad, I’ll take note of the recipe.

I prepared the imperial salad. I boiled a chicken breast, fried egg pancakes (it’s quick and easy, the pancakes turn over easily), and pickled chopped onions. When all the ingredients had cooled, I cut them up and laid them in layers using an improvised salad ring from a plastic bottle. Following the author’s advice, I did not coat the top layer of egg pancakes with mayonnaise. This option is suitable if you serve the salad immediately after preparation, otherwise you can apply a mayonnaise mesh so that the top of the salad does not dry out. A very satisfying and tasty salad, the addition of pickled onions gives it a pleasant spice - sourness, juiciness and a gentle crunch. Be sure to try it! Thanks to the author for the recipe!

When I first came across this salad, it seemed to me that, apart from the breast, there were somehow no other ingredients to express the taste, but it turned out well. And there is an opportunity for experimentation, a pickled cucumber will do, you can add olives, and greens can be used as a salad, a joy for those who love it.
