STEP 1

How to steam rice in a slow cooker correctly? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can cook any amount of rice in a slow cooker. I use long grain rice. The main thing is the correct proportions. To 1 part rice you need to take 2 parts water. To prevent the finished rice from being bland, you can use various spices.
STEP 2

First, rinse the rice several times. Drain the water every time. After cooking the rice, clean water should remain.
STEP 3

Place the washed rice in a fine sieve to drain all the water.
STEP 4

Pour the required amount of water into the multicooker bowl. Add salt and spices to the water. I added a pinch of turmeric to give the finished rice a yellow tint. Place the bowl in the multicooker, close the lid and turn on the “Rice”, “Buckwheat” or “Porridge” mode for 30 minutes. Be guided by your multicooker. Wait for the water to boil.
STEP 5

Now place the washed rice in the bowl and stir. Close the lid of the multicooker and leave the rice to cook. If you initially pour rice into cold water, it will form one large lump. It must be immersed in boiling water.
STEP 6

In the closed bowl of the multicooker, the rice is cooked under high steam pressure. It is completely steamed, absorbs all the water and increases in size. The finished rice will become soft and crumbly. Stir it.
STEP 7
