    Cool the resulting mass to room temperature. Then beat the eggs into it. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush.

    Bake the crust in the oven, preheated to 180°C for 10-15 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven. It will rise slightly and spring back when pressed. Remove the finished cake from the oven and remove from the baking sheet. Bake the second cake in the same way. Leave them to cool.

    While the cakes are cooling, prepare the cream. Prepare food for him. Use sour cream with a fat content of at least 20%. To make the cream more stable, you can first weigh it in gauze. For sour cream-based cream, it is better to use powder rather than sugar - it will dissolve faster and will not squeak on your teeth.

    Using a whisk, stir the ingredients until smooth. I don't use a mixer because the heat when whipping makes the sour cream thinner. The cream is ready, all that remains is to assemble the cake.

Honey cake is a delicious dessert! I really liked the simple preparation and the result in the photo. I decided to try making honey cakes. Only instead of sour cream I made cream from boiled condensed milk with butter. For the dough, I combined all the ingredients one by one, as indicated in the recipe. The result was a thick dough, similar in consistency to boiled condensed milk. Visually divided the dough into two parts. Spread the dough with a spoon on a baking sheet with a silicone mat. I baked the first cake for 10 minutes and the second cake for 12 minutes. I cut and aligned the cakes as described in the recipe. I smeared it with my cream, placed a plate on top and put it in the refrigerator overnight. Then I spread the cream on the top cake layer, used the scraps to make crumbs using a chopper, and sprinkled it generously on top and sides. I put it in the refrigerator again for a couple of hours. Then I cut it into 4 cakes, each weighing 300 grams. They came out very large) so when serving, I cut each one in half) and it turned out to be 8 cakes. The dessert was perfectly soaked! The cakes are soft, sweet, honey, very aromatic. They just melt in your mouth. Everyone in my household loved the dessert! I am delighted with both the preparation and the result.
