STEP 1

How to make ham and cheese pie? Prepare the ingredients for the test. I advise you to take thicker kefir, not lower than 3.2%. Wash the egg and dry with napkins. Sift the flour through a fine sieve.
STEP 2

Break an egg into a bowl. Pour in kefir. Add baking soda and salt. Whisk everything until smooth.
STEP 3

Add the sifted flour to the dough in parts. Keep in mind that you may need more or less flour than called for in the recipe. Look at the consistency of the dough.
STEP 4

Mix everything thoroughly. You should get a semi-liquid homogeneous dough.
STEP 5

Prepare the ingredients for the filling. You can use any ham you like. You can also choose any cheese, as long as it melts well. Wash the greens and dry with napkins. I used parsley, but any herb of your choice will work here.
STEP 6

Cut the ham into medium cubes. If you wish, you can cut off the crust and fat layers from the ham, as I did.
STEP 7

Grate the cheese on a medium or coarse grater.
STEP 8

Finely chop the washed greens.
STEP 9

Add chopped ham, grated cheese and chopped herbs to the dough.
STEP 10

Mix the mixture thoroughly.
STEP 11

Place the resulting dough into a greased or parchment-lined pan. If your mold is silicone, you don’t need to lubricate it with anything.
STEP 12

Bake the pie with ham and cheese in an oven preheated to 180-200°C for about 30-40 minutes. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven. The pie is ready. Bon appetit!
