Green tomato salad with bell pepper

STEP 1
We prepare the necessary products for preparing a delicious vegetable salad, peel the bell pepper and cut the onion into half rings.
STEP 2
Cut one kilogram of bell pepper into half rings, half a centimeter thick.
STEP 3
Place the chopped bell peppers in a large ten-liter saucepan.
STEP 4
Cut three kilograms of green tomatoes into half rings and add to the pan with the bell pepper.
STEP 5
Finely chop one peeled hot chili pepper.
STEP 6
Add the chopped chili peppers to the saucepan with the peppers and tomatoes.
STEP 7
Pour eighty grams of salt and two hundred and fifty grams of sugar into the pan.
STEP 8
Pour two hundred and fifty milliliters of vegetable oil into a saucepan.
STEP 9
Mix all ingredients thoroughly in the pan with a wooden spoon.
STEP 10
Add one kilogram of previously chopped onions to a common pan.
STEP 11
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and set the pan aside for at least two hours to allow the vegetables to release their juice.
STEP 12
Turn on the stove over medium heat and place a saucepan with vegetables, cover it with a lid and bring it to a boil, then turn down the heat on the stove and cook the vegetables for fifteen minutes, stirring with a spoon.
STEP 13
Add one hundred twenty-five milliliters of 9% vinegar to the pan five minutes before the end of cooking and mix thoroughly again.
STEP 14
Place the hot salad in sterilized jars.
STEP 15
Add vegetable juice to the jars to the very top.
STEP 16
Close the jars tightly with sterile lids.
STEP 17
We turn the jars over and check for leaks, cover them with a blanket or warm blanket, cool them for several hours and store them in a cool and dark place.
