STEP 1
How to make Greek salad with croutons and chicken? Prepare your food. Wash and dry the vegetables well, lettuce leaves and basil with special care - excess moisture will ruin the dish. The fillet is better suited chilled, it will turn out juicier. Thaw frozen food first.
STEP 2
Spread clean and dried fillets with salt and paprika. In addition, you can use any spices to your taste.
STEP 3
Wrap the fillet in foil, being careful to tuck the edges in so the juices don't spill out. Place the resulting bundle in a baking dish. Bake the meat for 40 minutes in the oven at 180°C. Then remove it from the oven and cool completely. Fillet baked in this way turns out very juicy and soft. But you can use fried or boiled meat.
STEP 4
Cut the bread into cubes, place in a frying pan and drizzle with olive oil. Fry the bread until golden brown over low heat. Cool the finished crackers.

Cut the cucumbers into half slices.

Tomatoes - in slices.
STEP 7
Remove the core and seeds from the bell pepper. Cut the pulp into strips.
STEP 8
Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
STEP 9
Chop the basil. It can be replaced with any dry or fresh herbs to taste. Cut the cheese into cubes. Traditionally, feta or feta cheese is added to Greek salad; choose high-quality cheese, without vegetable fats in the composition.
STEP 10
Cut the chilled fillet into thin slices.
STEP 11
Place cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and basil in a salad bowl. Salt and pepper the vegetables, then pour in the oil and lemon juice. Stir the salad.
STEP 12
Take a large flat dish. Place lettuce leaves on it. Top with dressed vegetable salad.
STEP 13
Place pieces of chicken fillet, sliced cheese, and olives on top. Add the croutons last to keep them crispy and tasty.
STEP 14
Serve the salad immediately - the seasoned vegetables will release their juice over time. Bon appetit!
