Galette with cottage cheese and honeysuckle

STEP 1

To prepare biscuits with cottage cheese and honeysuckle you will need: egg, vegetable oil, water, salt, flour, cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, honeysuckle berries, starch, powdered sugar.
STEP 2

Let's make the dough. Beat the egg with salt until smooth.
STEP 3

Pour in vegetable oil and mix.
STEP 4

Add warm water and mix.
STEP 5

Add sifted flour.
STEP 6

Knead a homogeneous, soft dough. Wrap it in cling film and let it rest for 30 minutes. During this time, the dough will become more elastic and pliable.

Roll out the dough into a thin round layer no more than 5 mm thick. It is convenient to do this immediately on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. Roll out the edges of the layer a little thinner than the middle.
STEP 8

Let's make the filling. If you use soft cottage cheese or flakes, then it is better to grind it in a blender or rub it through a sieve. This way the filling will be more tender. Combine cottage cheese with sour cream and sugar and mix.
STEP 9

We sort out the honeysuckle berries as necessary, wash them, and dry them well. Combine with starch, powdered sugar and mix gently.
STEP 10

Place the curd layer on the dough and spread it, not reaching the edge 5 cm.
STEP 11

Arrange the berries evenly on the curd layer.
STEP 12

We fold the edges of the dough over the filling, laying them overlapping.
STEP 13

Press the edges lightly.
STEP 14

Bake the galette in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
STEP 15

Cool the finished galette completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
