STEP 1
How to make shortbread pie with raspberry jam? Measure out the required ingredients. To prepare shortcrust pastry, the butter and milk must be sufficiently cold.

Mix flour with baking powder and sift into a bowl of suitable size.

Combine flour with sugar, mix.

Grate cold butter into the flour mixture using a coarse grater.

Rub everything quickly with your hands.

Beat the egg with a fork with cold milk until smooth.

Make a well in the butter-flour crumbs and pour in the egg beaten with milk. Stir with a spoon first.

Then quickly mix everything together with your hands, forming the dough into a ball. There is no need to knead the dough for a long time and thoroughly so that the butter does not melt from the warmth of your hands. The dough may not be perfectly homogeneous, with small inclusions of oil. The faster the shortbread dough is mixed, the more crumbly the finished baked goods will be. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.
STEP 9
Form the cake immediately on parchment so that later it is convenient to transfer it to a baking sheet. Roll out the chilled dough into a round layer 0.5-0.8 mm thick.

Leave the middle of the dough for the sweet filling. Divide the remaining distance into 12 symmetrical parts.

For each part, make cuts of the same width on both sides. Also make cuts in the middle, but without cutting all the way through.

Bend the middle part of each segment towards the middle.

Then roll the roll towards you.

Connect the ends of the side cut strips at the bottom of the roll.

Shape the entire cake in a similar manner.
