Famous Cake Easy to whip up
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to bake the famous cake as quickly as possible? Prepare ingredients for making dough. Choose natural condensed milk, without milk fat substitutes. It may take a little less or more flour, depending on the condition of the dough.
STEP 2
Take a deep bowl and crack an egg into it. Stir it lightly with a whisk.
STEP 3
Add condensed milk to the egg, stir until smooth.
STEP 4
Take baking soda and place it in a small cup. Pour vinegar into the soda. Mix the ingredients with a spoon. The “quenching” reaction will begin - the alkali will react with the acid. Due to the released carbon dioxide, the baked goods will be able to grow and “rise.” Immediately add slaked soda to the dough and mix with a whisk.
STEP 5
Start adding flour to the dough in portions. I poured in half a glass and mixed a portion of flour with a spoon. This will make it easier for you to control the consistency of the dough. Gradually the dough will begin to become thicker.
STEP 6
The end result should be a soft, non-sticky dough that can be rolled out. It took me just 3 cups of flour. But keep in mind that the flour is different, so you may need less flour. At the end, I literally added flour one spoon at a time so as not to over-mix it. Excess flour can cause the cakes to become tough. The dough should be soft, but so soft that you can pick it up with your hands and divide it into pieces.
STEP 7
Place the dough on a floured work surface. Divide it into 8 parts.
STEP 8
Take one piece and roll it into a circle with a diameter of approximately 20-22 cm. Focus on the pan in which you will bake the cake. If the dough is a little sticky, sprinkle it with flour.
STEP 9
Heat a frying pan over low heat. I used non-stick coating. There is no need to grease the pan. Place the dough piece on the heated frying pan. Be sure to prick it all over the surface with a fork so that the dough does not bubble when baking.
STEP 10
Bake the cake for 1-2 minutes on one side, it should become golden brown. Then turn the cake over and bake the other one for the same amount of time. While the first cake is baking, roll out the next one on the table. And so on with all 8 cakes. Remove the finished cake onto a plate. Let all the cakes cool.
STEP 11
While the cakes are cooling, prepare the cream. Prepare food for him.
STEP 12
Take a saucepan with a thick bottom. Break eggs into it. Add regular and vanilla sugar to them. Beat lightly with a whisk. Add flour and mix it with eggs.
STEP 13
Pour in the milk. Stir until smooth.
STEP 14
Place the saucepan with the cream on low heat. Cook the cream with constant stirring until it thickens. Do not leave the stove; when heated, the eggs on the bottom may cook into an omelet, and the cream will be spoiled. Therefore, it is so important to take a saucepan with a thick bottom and constantly stir the cream.
STEP 15
After about five minutes the cream will begin to thicken before your eyes. Boil it until it becomes thick sour cream.
STEP 16
Remove the cream from the heat and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Add butter to the cream.
STEP 17
Mix the cream with a whisk until smooth and shiny.
STEP 18
Trim the finished cakes by placing a plate of a suitable size on them. Don't throw away the scraps, we'll make crumbs out of them.
STEP 19
Assemble the cake. Pour a spoonful of cream onto the stand and place the first cake layer. Spread the cake thickly with warm cream. You get a lot of cream, so you don’t have to skimp. Cover it with the second cake layer, spread it with cream, and so on.
STEP 20
The top cake and sides are also smeared with cream. Place the cake in the refrigerator to soak for 8 hours. Make crumbs from the scraps. I put them in a bag and crushed them with a rolling pin. Sprinkle crumbs over the top and sides of the cake.
