Fallen Leaves Cake

A light and incredibly tasty dessert with a philosophical theme! An easy to prepare and incredibly delicious dessert. According to the cooking technology, it is reminiscent of such desserts as “Curly Lad” or a snowball. The name is based on a comparison with a pile of fallen leaves in late autumn. The browned, fallen leaves are raked into a heap, it is covered with snow and in the spring, tender snowdrops make their way through the old brown leaves. This cake would look great on a holiday table for a birthday or Easter. The cake is formed from small pieces that resemble leaves. The leaves can be baked separately as small cakes and folded into a cake. I prefer the "rifled" method. Bake a large cake (preferably 2 cakes) and cut it into leaves. The cake is decorated with chocolate leaves and flowers.

For decoration you will need fresh leaves, I borrow them from a homemade tangerine, and half a bar of dark chocolate. The number of leaves is arbitrary, but if you plan to thoroughly cover the cake with leaves, the amount of chocolate will also increase.

And the leaves can be prepared separately; they will be very tasty with ice cream or just like figured chocolate.
