Dry yeast loaf in the oven

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to bake a loaf of bread with dry yeast in the oven at home? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Pour kefir and vegetable oil into a deep bowl. Heat to 36 degrees, this can be done in a microwave oven at minimum power. The temperature of the liquid can be checked with a clean finger; it should be comfortable at this temperature.
STEP 2

Add sugar, stir until it dissolves. Add dry yeast, stir until the yeast dissolves. Leave the mixture in a warm place for 15 minutes. Read all the subtleties of choosing, replacing and working with yeast in the article at the end of this recipe.
STEP 3

A foaming cap will appear on the surface of the mixture, which means the yeast has been activated. If this does not happen, then the yeast does not work and you need to take another one.
STEP 4

Add salt and sifted wheat flour to the mixture. Flour must be added in parts, stirring the mixture each time with a spatula or spoon.
STEP 5

When the dough becomes difficult to mix with a spoon, turn it out onto a floured work surface and continue kneading the dough with your hands, adding sifted wheat flour if necessary. You may need a little less or more flour; be guided by the consistency of the dough: it should be soft and elastic, a little sticky to your hands. Place it back in the bowl and cover the top with cling film. About flour, read the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 6

Place the dough in a warm place for about an hour. Knead the risen dough. Let's move on to forming the loaves.
STEP 7

Divide the dough into the required number of pieces depending on the desired size of the loaves. Form them into loaves. To do this, roll out the dough into a rectangular layer and roll it into a roll, pinch the edges. Place the pieces in a baking dish greased with butter and place in a warm place to rise for 30 minutes. Make longitudinal cuts on the risen loaves. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
STEP 8

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the loaf for about 30 minutes, until golden brown on top. The times are approximate, please be guided by the operation of your equipment. Read about ovens in a separate article at the end of the recipe. Remove the kefir-based dry yeast loaf from the oven, let it cool and serve with tea, coffee, milk, butter or other spreads. Bon appetit!
