Dough for dumplings in a bread machine

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make dumpling dough in a bread machine? Prepare your food. The amount of flour is approximate; it may take more or less than stated in the recipe. You will look at the status of the test. Take clean, filtered or bottled water. Egg - category C1.
STEP 2

Crack the egg into a bread machine measuring cup. You can use a regular one, it will just be more convenient to measure the amount of liquid. Beat the egg with a fork. Pour enough water into it so that together with the egg you get 230 ml. Take water at normal room temperature. Using the same fork, stir the egg and water.
STEP 3

Place the stirrer blade in the bread maker bucket. Pour water mixed with egg into it. Sift the flour. To speed up the process, I sift it directly into a bucket using a special sieve mug. Sifting will not only remove possible debris from the flour, but will also saturate it with oxygen, which will make the dough softer and fluffier. Pour salt into a bucket on top of the flour.
STEP 4

Place the bucket in the bread maker. Select the mode suitable for preparing dumpling dough. I call it “Pasta Dough” and it takes 20 minutes. In your model, the mode may be called differently, and the cooking time will also be different. Read the instructions carefully. When the bread machine starts working, look at the condition of the dough. It turned out too liquid for me, I added a couple more spoons of flour.
STEP 5

If the dough comes out too stiff, splash in a little water. When the bread maker signals the end of the program, remove the bucket from it. Place the finished dough on the work surface. Form the dough into a log.
STEP 6

Roll it into a thin layer, adding flour if necessary. Cut the layer into circles using a glass or a special notch. Place a spoonful of minced meat in the center of each circle. Make a dumpling using any method you like. You can cook the finished dumplings immediately or freeze them for future use.
STEP 7

The dough can also be frozen by wrapping it in a bag. But I prefer to cook from fresh, especially since it’s so easy to make using a bread machine. Bon appetit!
