STEP 1

How to make diet cookies from oatmeal? Prepare the necessary ingredients. My fruit puree is apple and pear, but you can use anything you like. It is advisable to cook oatmeal for a long time. This oatmeal retains the maximum amount of nutrients. You can read more about choosing oatmeal in the article at the end of this recipe.
STEP 2

Grind coarse oat flakes in a blender until it becomes flour. But if you want the cookie structure to be uneven, do not crush the flakes too much. For example, finely ground oatmeal does not need to be chopped.
STEP 3

Any mixture of dried fruits and nuts can be used. I have dates, raisins, walnuts, peanuts, almonds. Steam dried fruits in advance if necessary. Pour boiling water over them. Leave for 10-15 minutes, when they become soft, dry with paper towels and cut into small pieces. Nuts can also be ground in a blender.
STEP 4

I used store-bought fruit puree, but you can make your own. To do this, bake apples and pears in the oven (with honey, if possible) until soft. Then puree the baked fruit in a blender until smooth.
STEP 5

In a suitable container, combine oatmeal, coconut flakes and a mixture of dried fruits and nuts. Stir.
STEP 6

Now add the fruit puree and mix the mixture well.
STEP 7

The mass should be homogeneous, viscous, slightly sticky.
STEP 8

Wet your hands with cold water, take about a tablespoon of the mixture and form into round balls. Flatten them slightly with your hands. You will get cookies like this. Place them on a baking sheet, which you have previously covered with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees in advance. Bake the cookies until golden, about 15-20 minutes. STEP 9

Remove the baking sheet with the finished cookies from the oven and let it cool. Serve oatmeal cookies with tea, coffee or warm milk.
