  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

    Ingredients

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or pass through a meat grinder. Add softened (not melted) butter and stir.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Mix eggs with sugar. Add cream. Add vanilla seeds (if you use vanilla sugar, add it at this stage too). Place the mixture over medium heat, bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture will begin to thicken (I cooked for about 5 minutes after boiling).

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then cool the mixture a little.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Melt the chocolate in a water bath.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add the egg mixture to the cottage cheese and butter, mix. Add chocolate, mix. Add nuts and candied fruits, mix well. Cover the bean box with gauze folded in two layers (if there is no bean box, you can use a new flower pot or colander). The edges of the gauze should hang down. Spread out the curd mixture.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Wrap the edges. Place the mold in a plate or bowl, as the whey will drain. Place a weight (I used jars). Place the mold together with the weight in the refrigerator for 12 hours.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Then remove the edges of the gauze, turn the mold over, remove the gauze. Easter is ready! You can serve! Christ is Risen! Bon appetit!

Faina! Thank you very much for the recipe! On Easter Day it is indispensable on the festive table. I’m sure the taste is extraordinary, since chocolate is added, I haven’t tried it yet, I’ll take note!
