    Add half of all the milk to the egg mixture. Do not pour in all the milk at once, this will help prevent lumps from forming in the dough. Sift all the flour. You can do it like I do, that is, sift it directly into a bowl of beaten eggs.

    Stir the dough with a mixer so that there are no lumps left. Watch the consistency of the dough: you may need more or less flour. Or you can adjust the thickness of the dough with the milk we add in the next step.

    Pour the remaining milk into the dough.

    Stir the dough with a spatula until smooth. At the end, pour in vegetable oil. Stir. Let the dough sit for about 20 minutes to release the gluten. If the dough seems thick to you, pour in a little milk. If it’s runny, add more flour and let it sit.

    Heat a frying pan well on the stove. Lubricate it with a drop of vegetable oil. Pour a little batter into the pan and spread it evenly over the entire surface using circular movements.

    When one side of the pancake is browned, flip the pancake over. Fry it on the other side. Remove the finished pancake. There is no need to grease the pan before the next pancakes. Bake the pancakes until all the batter is gone.

    Prepare the ingredients for the cream. Whipping cream should be thick and well chilled.

    Pour the cream into a deep whipping bowl. Add powdered sugar to the cream. Beat them to stiff peaks.

    Form a pancake cake. Grease the cake plate with a spoonful of cream. Place pancakes on a plate one at a time, covering each with whipped cream. Also grease the top pancake and sides of the cake. Place the finished cake in the refrigerator for several hours to soak. Decorate it as desired.

This recipe won my heart. From ordinary ingredients, such a stunning culinary masterpiece is created. Delicate, rosy pancakes are ideally combined in a duet with airy, buttery cream. I added some canned peaches and the finished cake to the cream, decorated it with a fruit and berry mix for a sweet and sour note in the taste. The pancake cake holds its shape perfectly and is easy to cut. On the table, especially a festive one, there is no chance for “life” for the cake, because... instantly devoured by both cheeks by all the guests. Many thanks to the author for the gorgeous recipe!

I decided to prepare it for February 23rd, since Maslenitsa took place that same week) the cake itself is very tasty, tender, flaky and very creamy, although there is not enough cream, it was almost all absorbed into the pancakes, you need to take 2 times more, then it will work much more tender and tastier. But despite this, everyone at home really liked it and quickly ate it)
