STEP 1
How to make creamed chicken in the oven with mushrooms? Prepare your ingredients. For cooking we will need: chicken thighs (it is better to buy without skin and bones, so as not to bother cutting meat off the bones), mushrooms (I used champignons), cream (20%), fresh thyme, garlic, vegetable oil, ground black pepper and salt.
STEP 2
Wash the chicken thighs and dry. Remove the skin and trim the meat from the bone.
STEP 3
Cut the meat into medium pieces.
STEP 4
Place chicken in a baking dish. Salt and pepper.
STEP 5
Wash the champignons thoroughly, dry and cut into quarters.
STEP 6
Peel the garlic and pass through a press.
STEP 7
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the champignons and fry, stirring, for 7 minutes until golden brown. Frying the mushrooms occurs in three stages: first, they quickly absorb all the oil. Then they fry for some time in a dry frying pan. Then, on the contrary, the moisture accumulated in them gradually evaporates. As soon as the moisture has evaporated, the roasting process begins. The mushrooms begin to acquire a golden color. This may take more than 7 minutes.
STEP 8
Once the mushrooms are lightly golden brown, add the cream to the pan. Stir.
STEP 9
Add salt, pepper and stir. Sprinkle the mushrooms with chopped garlic and fresh thyme and remove the pan from the heat.
STEP 10
Transfer the creamy mushroom mixture into the pan with the chicken. Mix everything.
STEP 11
Place the pan preheated to 180°C and bake the meat and mushrooms for 40 minutes. Bon appetit!
