Corydalis (chicken made from mashed potatoes) with chickens

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
For the base of our “crested chicken” we take two buns - one larger, the other smaller for the body of the chicken. We connect them with a wooden skewer.
STEP 2
We prepare regular mashed potatoes - boil the potatoes in salted water until ready, drain the water, mash them with a masher and beat the eggs into the puree. The puree must be cool so that we can use it to make our chicken. While the puree is hot (or warm), we sculpt the body and head of a chicken from the puree, like sculptors.
STEP 3
When the image of the chicken is formed, use an ordinary spoon to make small indentations in the mashed potatoes - texture. We make the eyes from berries, the scallop from carrots.
STEP 4
Take a radish (white or green), wash it, clean it and cut it out with a sharp knife with a curved chamomile tip - to decorate the dish. You need to make 2-3 of these daisies from radishes.
STEP 5
For daisies, cut out the yellow centers from lemon peels or carrots. Add leaves - arugula works especially well.
STEP 6
In addition to the dish, we make chickens - boil the quail eggs, cool, peel them, place some whole next to the chicken, and cut a couple in half so that the yolk can be seen, and make chicken eyes from black peppercorns. In addition to the nests, we make them from boiled spaghetti. This is how the original dish turned out. Especially suitable for Easter!
