  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry classic cottage cheese pancakes in a frying pan? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Cottage cheese can be of any fat content to taste. I have 9%. Be sure to sift the flour. This way it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished curds will be more tender.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place cottage cheese in a deep bowl.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

If the cottage cheese is dry and grainy, then it is better to rub it through a sieve or punch it with a blender; my cottage cheese is quite moist and soft, and therefore no additional steps were required to soften it. Add sugar and a pinch of salt to balance the taste and mix everything. If you wish, you can adjust the amount of sugar to your taste. If the cottage cheese is too dry, you can add a couple of spoons of sour cream or cream.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Beat a chicken egg into a bowl with cottage cheese. It is necessary so that the cheesecakes keep their shape well and do not crumble when fried. Mash the ingredients with a fork or blender.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add half the amount of sifted flour indicated in the ingredients and mix the ingredients thoroughly to form a thick, sticky dough.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

You may need less flour, you need to focus on the consistency of the curd dough, it should be dense, but not clogged, then the finished curds will be soft and literally melt in your mouth.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it well over high heat. Pour the remaining flour into a plate. Use a tablespoon to take a little curd dough and roll it in flour, using your hands to shape it into a “puck.” In this way, form curds from the entire dough.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the curds on the heated oil in a frying pan, immediately reduce the heat to medium. Fry the curds for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

After frying the curds on the second side, you can cover the frying pan with a lid and hold the curds in the pan for a few minutes so that they are well baked inside. The curds with flour in the frying pan are ready. Bon appetit!

I agree one hundred percent. Cottage cheese is the best breakfast. With sour cream, fresh berries or fruits, or even condensed milk - delicious!

If you take good, high-quality and already proven cottage cheese, then by preparing curds according to this recipe, you will get sweetish, delicate-tasting curd “pucks”, in which, as for me, the proportions of all ingredients are perfectly observed. Since curds are sweet, I liked them better with sour cream, since it is a little sour and takes away the sweetness. From this amount of ingredients I got 8 fragrant, rosy, golden curds, which we happily ate for breakfast. Snezhana, thanks for the recipe, it was delicious!

Good recipe: Classic cottage cheese curds in a frying pan. For me, the main thing is that everything is done very quickly and with a minimum set of ingredients. I can’t say that these are the cheesecakes of my dreams, but they are also very tasty! The cheesecakes really turn out very tender and airy. I would add a little more sugar because... I like to eat cheesecakes only with sour cream. If you also serve with jam, then the amount of sugar should be exactly as in the recipe. To taste, it seemed to me that the cheesecakes were boiled/steamed rather than fried. Next time I’ll add a little more flour to make it more like a flour product and won’t cover it with a lid, but just keep the cheesecakes on low heat a little longer.

The cheesecakes turned out to be very tasty, everyone liked it and ate it all quickly. They smelled very appetizing and characteristically like cottage cheese. I would like to note that this product is very filling: a couple of cheesecakes gives you a feeling of fullness for a long time, even my husband noted this. Thanks for the recipe!

As for me, there is a lot of salt indicated.
