STEP 1
How to make cheesecakes from kefir? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take soft cottage cheese, not coarse, but not raw, otherwise you won’t be able to turn them over and cook them later.
STEP 2
Place the cottage cheese in a bowl and mash it with a fork. Wash the egg thoroughly and break it into a bowl. For such a portion you need half a regular egg, I just took a small one.
STEP 3
Pour kefir into the bowl with cottage cheese. Be sure to take fresh kefir, not sour and thick.
STEP 4
Add sugar and stir; if you want it sweeter, increase the amount. Mix everything well. If desired, you can add vanillin or vanilla sugar.
STEP 5
Add salt. It will enhance and emphasize the taste. Mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 6
Sift flour mixed with soda into a bowl with curd mass. If you are afraid that the cheesecakes may taste like soda, replace it with baking powder, doubling the quantities.
STEP 7
Mix everything well until smooth.
STEP 8
Pour flour onto the table and add one tablespoon of curd mass and bread.
STEP 9
Form the cheesecakes, this can be done conveniently using a spatula.
STEP 10
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat over medium heat, place the cheesecakes in the pan. Don’t try to put a lot at once, it will be awkward to turn over. Reduce heat to low and fry on each side for 5-6 minutes, until golden brown. Do not cover the pan with a lid, the cheesecakes will fall off and spread.
STEP 11
Remove the cheesecakes from the pan and place on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Bon appetit.
