How to bake a Christmas cake with dried fruits? Prepare the necessary ingredients for the cupcake according to the list. Remove the butter and chicken eggs from the refrigerator in advance so that they are at room temperature and the butter becomes soft.

  2. STEP 2

I decided to bake a Christmas cake with dried fruits for the holiday! I found a very tasty recipe on the site! I prepared all the ingredients: I chopped walnuts, poured boiling water over dried fruits (I had dried apricots and raisins) and then finely chopped the dried apricots. Then I poured cognac over the dried fruits. I sifted the flour and mixed it with baking powder. In a mixer bowl, mix butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and honey. Then added eggs and mixed. Added flour with baking powder and kneaded the dough. Next, I added nuts and dried fruits to the dough and mixed. Placed in a mold and baked at 170° for 45 minutes. Once cooled, took it out of the mold and sprinkled with powdered sugar! It was appetizing, filling and very tasty! I will definitely cook it again and again! Many thanks to the author for the recipe and I recommend it for cooking 😘

I made a cupcake according to your recipe, it turned out to be a very tasty aromatic cupcake, and such a beautiful one, there were no nuts on the cut, I put more dried fruits, 150 grams: dried apricots, raisins, prunes (60 grams 60 grams 30 grams), I didn’t soak them in alcohol.. Despite To this end, the cake came out wonderful, with a very pleasant aroma of honey. Thank you, I will make it again, next time I’ll try it with nuts

Tell me, does it need to be left to ripen like other Christmas cakes? I added more alcohol, will it spoil if I leave it for a week? 🙂

Good afternoon! I made a cupcake according to your recipe, but with some changes (I didn’t add prunes). I added dried cherries, candied fruits and nuts (Christmas is so Christmas). The remaining ingredients are as in the recipe. And the miracle happened! He's great. Fragrant, incredibly delicious! I really appreciate your idea. (I didn’t take a photo because the cupcake came out exactly the same as in your photo.) Thank you!
