Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 1 hr 20 mins
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

    Ingredients

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

For the curd filling: add 1 egg, 70 g of sugar to the cottage cheese and mix everything.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add coconut flakes and mix. The filling is ready.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

For the chocolate dough: melt the chocolate with butter and cool slightly.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add 3 eggs and sugar to the chocolate mixture.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    Beat until fluffy.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Sift the flour with baking powder and add to the chocolate mixture.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Mix everything until smooth. The consistency of the curd filling and chocolate dough should be approximately the same, so if your curd is too wet, you can add a little starch.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Let's form our pie. Place half of the chocolate dough on the bottom of the mold (my mold is 24 cm in diameter).

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Spread the curd filling on top.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

And cover with the rest of the dough.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Bake the pie at 170 C for about 50-60 minutes. Let the finished pie cool completely and, preferably, leave it for a few more hours so that the pie thickens and the pieces hold their shape when cut.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

    Bon appetit!

I saw an interesting recipe for chocolate cheesecake bounty pie on the website. The composition is very tasty, I decided to bake it). I generally like chocolate-based pies; they turn out more juicy and aromatic. I melted chocolate and butter in the microwave in a ceramic cup 3 times for 30 seconds. I stirred each time, resulting in a smooth chocolate mass. Both types of dough turned out more liquid than in the photo, but I didn’t add more flour. Bake in a tin with a diameter of 26 cm until a dry wooden stick. The height of the pie turned out to be optimal for me. My layers were not even due to the low density of the dough, but I liked it even better. The bounty pie is simply gorgeous! The combination of chocolate, coconut and cottage cheese is very successful. The structure is silky, juicy, tender! I recommend trying this delicious pie!

A very tasty pie, even just looking at the photo, and reading the ingredients makes it even tastier. Irish, how much cottage cheese should I take, a pack - 200 grams?

Vera, thank you for your kind words. You need about 400 g of cottage cheese, maybe a little less or more, it depends on the desired layer thickness

Very, very tasty! Thank you for noticing that the dough and filling should be the same consistency. The filling turned out to be thicker than the dough, diluted with cream. Added a little flour to the dough. We waited impatiently for it to cool down and for the necessary few hours. We couldn't resist. As soon as the pie had cooled completely, the son took a sample (1/3 of it). The husband thoroughly took on the dessert. In short, I only managed to try a small piece. Thanks for the recipe from my "boys". A great alternative to Royal Cheesecake.
