Chocolate cake with kefir
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Preparing the ingredients.
STEP 2
Beat two large eggs into a bowl.
STEP 3
Add sugar and cocoa to the eggs.
STEP 4
Beat thoroughly with a whisk or mixer until the sugar is completely dissolved.
STEP 5
Pour kefir into the mixture (it is better to use cold, straight from the refrigerator). Mix with a whisk.
STEP 6
Add sunflower oil and mix.
STEP 7
Add baking soda slaked with vinegar.
STEP 8
Pour in the flour, sifted several times through a sieve to enrich it with oxygen, and mix gently.
STEP 9
Let the dough stand for about 20 minutes so that the dough is well enriched with carbon dioxide due to the reaction of kefir and soda slaked with vinegar. During this time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
STEP 10
Cover the pan with foil, grease it with sunflower oil and pour the dough into it. Bake for about 20 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.
STEP 11
When the cake is baked, take it out. Let it cool a little, cut it lengthwise into two. We cut off the edges, we will need them for sprinkling.
STEP 12
Preparing the cream. Beat the condensed milk in a blender with butter and a pinch of vanillin. Those who like it sweeter can add powdered sugar.
STEP 13
Wash dried apricots, prunes and nuts thoroughly, cut into small pieces. Assemble the cake. Grease one cake with cream, sprinkle with prunes, dried apricots and nuts.
STEP 14
Grate the chocolate on a coarse grater.
STEP 15
Cover with the second cake layer. Spread cream on top. Sprinkle the top and sides with crushed crumbs and grated chocolate.
STEP 16
Decorate with candies (poppy flowers) or any other ones you wish. Leave the cake in the refrigerator overnight to soak. Enjoy your tea!
