  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make chicken with quince in the oven? We will need: any parts of chicken (drumsticks, thighs, fillets) or a whole chicken

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash and dry the chicken. If the chicken is whole, divide it into portions. Place the chicken in a baking dish. I covered the bottom and sides of the pan with foil to keep the juices from the chicken from sticking to the pan.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour soy sauce over the meat and sprinkle with chicken spices.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Mix everything thoroughly. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 2-3 hours.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cut the quince into large pieces, removing the seeds.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the quince pieces around the chicken. Fill the remaining gaps between the meat with prunes. Stick rosemary tassels between the quince and the chicken.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the chicken with quince and prunes in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour, periodically brushing the chicken with juice from the bottom of the pan. For the first 30 minutes, you can bake the chicken under foil so that the quince does not burn. Then remove the foil and bake the chicken until golden brown. Bon appetit!

For dinner today I cooked chicken with quince and prunes. To prepare it, I took chicken drumsticks and marinated them in spices and soy sauce. I took dry rosemary. I chopped the quince coarsely, but did not cut the prunes. The aroma from rosemary is simply amazing. I couldn’t resist and while cooking, coated the chicken with mayonnaise and sprinkled grated cheese on top. The chicken turned out delicious, juicy, aromatic. Quince and prunes complemented it well.
