STEP 1

How to make a salad with chicken, croutons and cheese? Start by preparing the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can replace Chinese cabbage with other lettuce leaves - Romano, Friese, Iceberg, etc. You can also use a ready-made mixture of lettuce leaves. You can supplement or replace the vegetable part to your taste. You can replace chicken with any other meat. You can use regular or cherry tomatoes.
STEP 2

Rinse and dry the chicken fillet. Lightly salt and pepper. Wrap the fillet in foil and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes until done. You can replace baking in the oven with boiling or frying the chicken in a pan. You can also use smoked chicken.
STEP 3

Cool the finished chicken fillet and cut into small pieces or disassemble into fibers.
STEP 4

Wash the Chinese cabbage, dry it and cut into medium pieces. You can cut a whole head of cabbage or separate it into individual leaves. If you want the salad to be more tender, cut off the white parts in the center of the leaf.
STEP 5

Hard-boil the eggs, cool, peel and cut into strips or thin slices.
STEP 6

Wash the cherry tomatoes, dry and cut in half. Cut regular tomatoes into slices. Tomatoes need to be juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.
STEP 7

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater or a Korean carrot grater.
STEP 8

To make the dressing, combine sour cream and mayonnaise in a bowl and stir. If you wish, you can add your favorite spices to taste. For example, it will be delicious with utskho-suneli - the sauce will have a nutty taste and aroma.
STEP 9

In a bowl, combine chicken, eggs, cherry tomatoes, cheese and lettuce. Stir gently.
STEP 10

Place the salad with Chinese cabbage, tomatoes, chicken and cheese on a plate and pour the dressing on top. Bon appetit!
