Chicken meatballs in the oven with gravy

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

how to make chicken tenders in the oven with gravy? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Minced meat can be used either purchased or homemade. I have ready minced chicken. I additionally ground it in a blender to make the meatballs more tender. Fill the bread with milk. I took black bread, you can use any bread.
STEP 2

Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Half will go into mince, half for gravy. Chop the garlic with a knife or pass through a press.
STEP 3

Place the minced meat in a deep bowl, beat in the egg, add half the chopped onion, chopped garlic, flour and bread soaked in milk, add salt to taste.
STEP 4

Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. The minced meat is ready.
STEP 5

Form a round ball from a heaping tablespoon of minced meat with wet hands and generously roll it in flour on all sides. Form the remaining bits in the same way.
STEP 6

Fry the meatballs in a frying pan heated with vegetable oil over high heat for 20-30 seconds on each side until golden brown. Read about how to choose the ideal frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe.
STEP 7

Now you can make the gravy. Peel the carrots, wash and grate on a coarse grater. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.
STEP 8

Pour some refined vegetable oil into the frying pan and heat it. Over medium heat, sauté the remaining onion for about 2 minutes.
STEP 9

Add carrots to the onion, stir and fry for about 2 minutes.
STEP 10

Add tomato paste, flour, salt to taste and stir.
STEP 11

Pour in water, stir and bring to a boil.
STEP 12

Pour half the gravy into a baking dish, place the meatballs in it and pour in the rest of the gravy. Read about how to choose a baking dish in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe. Add bay leaf. Place the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. The exact time and temperature will vary depending on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe. Bon appetit!
