  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake chicken liver with zucchini in the oven? Prepare your food. If possible, take the chicken liver chilled, it will be juicier. If the liver is frozen, then defrost it first by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the liver, dry it, remove the films. You can cut it into smaller pieces. Add balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, salt and pepper to the liver.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the garlic and pass it through a press, add it to the liver.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Gently mix the liver with the ingredients and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Wash the zucchini, dry and cut into slices.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Take a refractory baking dish; you don’t need to grease it with anything - the oil contained in the marinade will be enough. Place half of the zucchini slices on the bottom.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Distribute the liver and marinade evenly on top.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Cover the liver with the remaining zucchini. You don’t have to lay out all the ingredients in layers, but simply mix them and lay them out like that. I stirred the ingredients a couple of times during the cooking process so that the zucchini would bake evenly and not burn.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Bake the dish for about 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven and the size of the pan. But you don’t need to bake it for very long - the liver becomes hard from long heat treatment. Remove the finished liver from the oven, arrange on plates and serve, with or without a side dish. Bon appetit!

Thanks for the recipe :) Don’t you need to add salt and pepper to the zucchini? Yes, it is not included in the recipe. Although, of course, everything is very well described step by step, all the components are visible
