STEP 1
How to bake chicken in mayonnaise with onions and potatoes in the oven? Prepare your food. You can take any parts from the chicken. I'll cook chicken drumsticks. If they are frozen, defrost them first.
STEP 2
Peel the potatoes and rinse thoroughly to remove dirt in running water. Cut the peeled potatoes into large pieces.
STEP 3
Peel the onion and rinse in cold water. Finely chop the peeled onion.
STEP 4
Add a little salt and spices to the mayonnaise. When adding salt, keep in mind that mayonnaise already contains it. As a spice, you can use a ground mixture of peppers and dried herbs, for example, dill, parsley. You can add a little chopped garlic. Or add something to your liking. Roll the chicken and potatoes in the resulting mayonnaise mixture. Make sure that all the pieces are evenly covered with the sauce.
STEP 5
Grease the baking dish a little with vegetable oil. Place chopped onions on the bottom and place chicken on top. Divide the potatoes evenly between the chicken pieces. Cover the dish with a sheet of foil. Place the dish in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 30 minutes. Then remove the sheet of foil and leave the pan in the oven for another 20 minutes to brown the dish. Be guided by your oven.
STEP 6
You can use a ceramic, glass or metal baking dish. Remove the finished chicken and potatoes from the oven and place on plates. Serve the dish hot. When serving, you can sprinkle it with a little fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
