Roll the chicken and potatoes in the resulting mayonnaise mixture. Make sure that all the pieces are evenly covered with the sauce.

Cover the dish with a sheet of foil. Place the dish in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 30 minutes. Then remove the sheet of foil and leave the pan in the oven for another 20 minutes to brown the dish. Be guided by your oven.

When I cook chicken breast, I always worry that it will come out a little dry. But this time my chicken turned out juicy, tender, and flavorful! I prepared it according to the recipe: chicken in mayonnaise with onions and potatoes in the oven. I cut the meat into slices and set it aside. In the meantime, I peeled the potatoes, cut them in half, filled them with water, salted them a little and set them to cook for literally 5 minutes. I always boil the potatoes before putting them in the oven. This way, in my opinion, it turns out more tender. I cooled the semi-finished potatoes, cut them into smaller pieces, added a mixture of mayonnaise, aromatic seasoning for meat, paprika, mixed and placed in a greased form. I also seasoned the chicken pieces with seasoned mayonnaise, added finely chopped garlic (I used it instead of onion) and placed it in a mold. Sprinkled everything on top with paprika, dried herbs - basil and parsley. Covered the pan with foil and put it in the oven. I stewed the chicken with potatoes for 30 minutes. Then I removed the foil and simmered the dish in the oven for another 10 minutes. It turned out very tasty! The meat and potatoes were perfectly baked, filled with the aromas of herbs, and acquired a piquant flavor thanks to mayonnaise and garlic. The smell during cooking was indescribable!
