    How to make fricassee with chicken and mushrooms? At home, this dish is prepared from chicken fillet and champignons. However, every French restaurant chef has his own special recipe for this dish. Therefore, you can safely cook it with your own modifications. Wash the chicken fillet, dry it with a paper towel and cut it into cubes or strips.

    You can use mushrooms for the dish in the same way as in the classic recipe, champignons, but if it is possible to add forest mushrooms, then this should definitely be done. The dish will acquire an amazing aroma and taste. You can use any mushrooms you like; it turns out delicious with saffron milk caps. If the mushrooms are fresh, then wash them thoroughly, cut the large caps into cubes or strips, boil in salted water for 20 minutes, drain the water, and wash the mushrooms again.

    Peel the onions and cut into cubes. Pour olive oil into the frying pan, you can use vegetable oil. Heat it up and fry the onion until transparent.

    Add boiled mushrooms to it, mix and fry them together over medium heat for another 10 minutes.

    Then add the cooked chicken to the frying pan with the mushrooms. Stir and fry until the chicken meat is white. Add spices: salt and ground black pepper; if desired, you can add any other seasoning. Keep the chicken and mushrooms on the fire for another 10 minutes.

    Pour cream into the pan with chicken and mushrooms and stir. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for about 10 minutes. In a glass of cold water, stir a tablespoon of flour until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Pour it into the pan and stir. Turn off the heat and let the dish stand covered for 15 minutes. Those who like similar dishes with a piquant taste can add a clove of garlic passed through a press at this stage.

Tender meat and aromatic mushrooms in an enveloping sauce with a soft creamy taste - this is how I got fricassee of chicken with mushrooms. For cooking, I took 200 g of chicken breast, calculated the amount of other products using the calculator on the website. I stewed the meat with mushrooms in homemade sour cream, which I used cream instead. To make more delicious sauce, I increased the amount of sour cream. First, I put 100 g in the pan, stirred, then added another 4 tbsp. spoons. I used Provençal herbs and ground red pepper for spices. The dish turned out juicy and very tasty. And the garlic added directly to the plate added spice and made the taste of the fricassee more vibrant. I really liked it, and my husband immediately asked for more.
