  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pasta with chicken and mushrooms in creamy sauce? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Cook pasta according to package instructions. You can use any mushrooms. I defrosted wild mushrooms, which were collected in the forest during the mushroom season, boiled and frozen by me personally.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Heat the frying pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil onto it. Cut the chicken meat into small pieces and place in a hot frying pan. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until the meat turns a little golden brown.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

While the chicken is frying, peel the onions and rinse under running water. Finely chop the peeled onion and add to the pan with the chicken meat. Stir and fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then add the defrosted mushrooms to the pan. Fry everything together for 2-3 minutes. Then cover with a lid, reduce the heat and leave everything to cook for another 10 minutes. Stir occasionally and make sure it doesn’t start to burn. If all the moisture from the mushrooms evaporates very quickly, then add just a couple of tablespoons of water.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Separately, combine cold water with starch and stir so that there are no lumps. Why add starch? This is necessary to make the sauce a little thicker. A sauce of this consistency will pleasantly envelop the pasta and the dish will turn out very tender and pleasant to the taste. Peel and chop the garlic. When the chicken with mushrooms is cooked, add starch with water, cream and chopped garlic to the pan.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add a little salt and spices to taste. Mix everything and bring to a boil. The sauce will thicken slightly when heated.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Then add the prepared pasta to the pan. Mix everything and heat well over the fire for another 2-3 minutes so that all ingredients become the same temperature.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the finished dish on plates and serve hot. Bon appetit!

I really wanted to make creamy pasta. I found a recipe for Chicken Fettuccine Pasta with Mushrooms in a Creamy Sauce. Instead of fettuccine I had spaghetti, I used champignons for mushrooms. Boiled the spaghetti. I fried the chicken and onions for a couple of minutes, then added the champignons. I did not use starch in this dish. All I need is cream. I added spices ready for chicken, salt and pepper. I removed the pan with the chicken and mushrooms from the heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes so that it cooled and the cream did not immediately curdle. I poured in the cream and put it back on the stove, added the pasta, warmed it up a little and turned it off. The pasta turned out very tender and rich. Fatty, filling, just the way we like it.

A very worthy recipe! Instead of chicken, I used turkey medallions. I didn’t have frozen mushrooms, but from a can, because I didn’t have wild mushrooms, but I’m sure it would have been even tastier with them. I cooked it strictly according to the recipe, everything worked out the first time. The pasta turned out juicy, tender and very creamy. It was the first time I made a sauce using starch and I really liked it. I'll take note of its use for the future. Thanks to the author for the recipe.
