Casual pie with rhubarb and apples

Treat yourself to a rhubarb and apple pie - it's delicious, simple and quick. And “in passing” because here a lot is done unnoticed and in passing. Once I bought some dough in passing. Then, running past the refrigerators, I took it out of the freezer and threw it on the table. Running past the same refrigerator again, I took out frozen rhubarb. Looking into the kitchen again, I began to cook. And all this happened on that day when there was no sweets in the house, but I really wanted to treat myself to something for tea.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

We will need dough - I have store-bought, rhubarb - I have frozen, but you can use fresh, a sweet apple is better, butter, flour and, at your request, granulated sugar. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the handful of flour.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

And so we have defrosted dough, rhubarb too. We did this in passing --- from the refrigerator and onto the table. (Rhubarb in a bowl). So we rolled out a layer of dough, I do it right on the table sprinkled with flour, threw the rolled out layer onto a greased baking sheet and put rhubarb on 1/2 of it. I squeezed it out a little first. And now, if desired...sprinkled with granulated sugar.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then we remove the center from the apple and cut it into arbitrary pieces, I cut it straight into rhubarb. It is 1/2 of the dough. The result is a layer of rhubarb and a layer of apples.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Now cover the filling with the free 1/2 part of the dough. And we pinch the edges. I simply admire those who know how to do this beautifully - this is not given to me. I grease the top with the remaining butter and (I have a sweet tooth) sprinkle it with granulated sugar. And I put the baking sheet in a preheated oven. I have about 180 degrees and it takes 20 minutes But!!! this(time) depends on your oven.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

After 20 minutes I test for readiness. Done!!!! I take it out and put it on a towel that lies on a wooden cutting board. Then I wrap my pie. I have one towel specially allocated for this, since after such a procedure greasy stains remain. And they are difficult to wash off.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

And then we unwrap, cut and enjoy the pie with tea.....or milk. Bon appetit everyone!!
