  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make canned tuna pate with egg? Prepare the necessary ingredients. First you need to transfer the canned tuna meat into a tall blender glass. You shouldn’t pour out the fish broth just yet. It will be needed later to give the pate the necessary consistency. Boil the egg hard. Read about how to do this correctly in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe. The amount of onion can be adjusted to your taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the onions and cut into small cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion in it until golden brown. Read about how to choose the perfect frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil, in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe. Place the fried onions in a blender glass.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the hard-boiled egg and cut it into several pieces. Place the egg in a blender glass with the remaining ingredients.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Grate the cheese on a fine grater and add to the rest of the products. Salt and pepper to taste. Add 3-4 tablespoons of tuna can broth. This way the pate will not be dry. It’s difficult to indicate the exact amount of broth here; you need to take it by eye, since everyone’s tuna is different. I added four tablespoons.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Using an immersion blender attachment, thoroughly blend all ingredients until smooth and thick. Canned tuna pate can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days. Bon appetit!

I liked the recipe. Tasty and practical, thank you. For lovers of fish pastes, I suggest making mincemeat from herring. Awesome snack!

I love pates, especially homemade ones. They turn out much tastier and healthier than store-bought ones. And when I saw the recipe for canned tuna pate, I immediately wanted to make it. I prepared the ingredients: boiled an egg, put the tuna pieces in a bowl, grated the cheese on a coarse grater, finely chopped the onion and fried in a frying pan until golden brown. Combined all the ingredients in a blender bowl and grinded to a homogeneous paste. I added a tablespoon of liquid from the tuna can and stirred again. I really liked this version of the pate: delicate consistency, the ingredients go well together, making the pate very tasty! Thanks to UnicornSteak for the recipe and I recommend making it!
