  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

To make a meringue cake, you don’t need a lot of ingredients: condensed milk (sometimes they take boiled condensed milk, if you like it better, then cook it - it’s better to do it yourself, because store-bought milk most often contains far from healthy additives)

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Let me remind you how we make meringue (I posted the full recipe earlier). To do this, take a fresh egg and sugar. Separate the white from the yolk.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Bring the sugar to powder in a coffee grinder and mix with egg white.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Beat with a mixer gradually until stable peaks form.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place on a baking sheet and dry in the oven at 90 degrees for 2 hours.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Let's prepare the cream. Take softened butter.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

In a small container, mix 2 tablespoons of condensed milk and cocoa, mix until smooth.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add condensed milk to the butter and knead well until smooth. The cream is ready.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Now we grease each meringue with cream and lay it out in a slide, gluing it to each other.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Pour chocolate mixture on top. You can optionally add chopped nuts, grated chocolate, and sour berries to this cake. Cranberries or lingonberries would be especially appropriate - they will perfectly dilute the sweet taste of the cake with their sourness!

For me, this delicacy combines meringue and Charlotte cream perfectly. Making the Count's Ruins cake with meringue turned out to be not at all difficult and not too time-consuming, but it turned out very impressive and tasty. Everyone appreciated it. Thanks for the recipe!
