STEP 1
How to stew cabbage with carrots and onions in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash and peel the carrots and onions. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and chop the onion into fairly small cubes. Remove the top leaves from the head of cabbage; they are usually wilted. Chop the cabbage into thin strips.
STEP 2

STEP 3
Also add the chopped onion to the pan with the carrots.
STEP 4
Mix everything well and fry, stirring over high heat.
STEP 5
Place most of the cabbage in the pan, stir and continue to fry the vegetables over high heat.
STEP 6
Add salt to the vegetables to taste and stir.
STEP 7
Add the remaining cabbage to the pan and, stirring occasionally, continue to fry the vegetables over high heat for about 7-10 minutes.
STEP 8
After time, add all the spices to the vegetables, except pepper, garlic passed through a press and mix everything again.
STEP 9
Reduce heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the cabbage for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 10
After the specified time, add bay leaves, tomato paste, butter and a mixture of black and red peppers.
STEP 11
Mix all the ingredients well in the frying pan, then cover it with a lid and continue to simmer the vegetables for another 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
STEP 12
Place the stewed cabbage on plates and serve as a separate dish or as a side dish. Bon appetit!
