Buckwheat with mushrooms in the oven

Hassle-free dinner - it's real! Cook and enjoy. Buckwheat baked with mushrooms in the oven turns out steamed, as if it had been cooked in the oven. But at the same time, the cereal remains crumbly and very aromatic. The dish is perfect for Lent.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make buckwheat with mushrooms in the oven? Prepare your food. Any mushrooms will do - wild mushrooms, champignons, and oyster mushrooms. Pre-boil forest vegetables according to the time, depending on the variety. Wash and peel the vegetables. Sort the buckwheat, removing black grains and debris.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the onion into small cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Carefully clean the mushrooms of any dirt. Do not wet them too much - once saturated with moisture, the champignons become watery and tasteless. I wipe the mushrooms with a damp sponge and then dry them with a paper towel. Cut the mushrooms into small slices.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Heat a frying pan over medium heat, pour vegetable oil into it for frying. Fry the onions and carrots, stirring, for several minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then add mushrooms to the vegetables. Salt and pepper them, stir. Fry the mushrooms for about 10 minutes, stirring. If you have wild mushrooms, fry them only after boiling.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Take a suitable baking dish. Rinse the buckwheat several times in cool water. Pour it into the bottom of the mold. Place mushrooms fried with vegetables on top.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Fill the contents of the mold with boiling water at the rate of 1:2.5 (for one glass of cereal, two and a half glasses of water). Lightly salt everything on top. No need to stir.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Cover the pan with foil and place in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for 35-40 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven and the volume of buckwheat.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

After time has passed, remove the pan with buckwheat from the oven - it should completely absorb all the water.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Mix buckwheat with mushrooms and onions, season with oil if desired and serve. Bon appetit!

The recipe for buckwheat with mushrooms in the oven is an example of an easy-to-prepare and delicious dish. I love recipes like this where you don’t have to stand at the stove for a long time. This recipe is a godsend. I didn’t think that buckwheat would go so well with mushrooms. When I filled the mold with water, it seemed like there was a lot of water. And in the end, the buckwheat turned out to be crumbly and moderately oily thanks to the frying of vegetables and mushrooms. To be honest, I didn’t expect that buckwheat in the oven would turn out so tasty. Now this is one of my favorite recipes.
