STEP 1

How to make buckwheat porridge with meat in a slow cooker? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can use any type of meat for cooking. It can be pork, beef, chicken or lamb. I will cook with pork.
STEP 2

Rinse the meat in running water and cut into small cubes.
STEP 3

Turn the multicooker on to the “fry” mode and wait until it warms up. Pour a little vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and place the chopped meat. Fry the meat for 8-10 minutes until it begins to brown. There is no need to close the lid.
STEP 4

Peel the onions and carrots and rinse them to remove dirt. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and finely chop the onion. Add the onions and carrots to the meat, stir and fry everything together for a couple more minutes. When frying, vegetables will develop a characteristic aroma.
STEP 5

Rinse the buckwheat several times in cold water. Then drain all the water.
STEP 6

Transfer the washed buckwheat into the multicooker bowl with the meat and fill with hot water. Add salt and spices to taste. Mix everything and close the multicooker lid. Switch it to the “quenching” mode for 20-25 minutes. Be guided by your multicooker.
STEP 7

After the specified time, look into the bowl and check for the presence of water. Buckwheat will increase in size and absorb all the water. If there is still some water left, extend cooking for another 5-10 minutes.
STEP 8

Mix the prepared buckwheat porridge with meat, place on plates and serve hot. A salad of fresh vegetables will be an excellent addition. Bon appetit!
