  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare all the necessary products. Take fresh broccoli; the head should be bright green and elastic to the touch. Of course, you can also take frozen cabbage, but in this case you need to defrost it well and drain off all the liquid. Use large eggs, preferably homemade, or at least CO. Homemade eggs differ not only in size, but also have a brightly colored yolk, which will give the finished dish a beautiful color.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the cabbage very well - a lot of dirt accumulates in small inflorescences, so pay special attention to the process of washing the cabbage. Cut off the stalk and divide the cabbage into inflorescences of the desired size. Don’t leave them too big - you want them to still be convenient to eat the finished dish!

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Boil water in a saucepan, add a little salt, add chopped cabbage and boil for 2-3 minutes. Do not cook for a long time - all the benefits are contained in raw and half-raw cabbage.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Drain the water, place the cabbage in a sieve and keep under cold running water. This procedure is necessary to preserve the bright green color of the cabbage.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Prepare a heat-resistant form for preparing our dish. Lay out the cabbage. Keep in mind that if dishes tend to stick to your form, then first grease the form with a small amount of vegetable or butter.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Lightly beat the eggs with a fork.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add some salt. At this stage, you can add your favorite spices and seasonings to the egg mass. For some, just ground pepper or paprika will be enough, while others will decide to flavor it with garlic powder, herbs de Provence or fenugreek. Or maybe you decide to add fresh herbs (dill, parsley, cilantro) or a clove of fresh garlic or onion.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add half of the grated cheese to the egg mixture. The cheese can be any: hard, semi-hard, and even moldy. Stir.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Pour the mixture over the cabbage.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. The eggs should be cooked and hold their shape well, and the cheese should be melted.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Serve the dish hot. Bon appetit!

Today was a surprisingly sunny autumn morning and I really wanted something bright for breakfast. There was a bag of broccoli in the freezer, which cooks very quickly. This is what I started from. I found a suitable recipe for broccoli with egg and cheese in the oven. Just three ingredients, not including salt, and a complete breakfast is ready. I threw the broccoli into boiling salted water, waited for it to boil again and cooked for two minutes. To bake, I took a cake pan, which I generously greased with butter. I really wanted a very tasty breakfast) I even put the remaining piece on top of the future casserole. I took more cheese. Bake for exactly 15 minutes with the top grill. It turned out just gorgeous! The broccoli crunched a little, the cheese turned into a golden brown crust, and underneath it was a tender egg soufflé. And everything is so creamy and incredibly tasty. Overall, it was a good start to the day) Thanks for the recipe!
