Broccoli in a steamer

A light, tasty dish - an excellent side dish for meat, don't miss it! I really love soy sauce, and that’s why I use this recipe when cooking broccoli in a steamer. And in general, steamed broccoli is simply brilliant! The color is very well preserved and the consistency is pleasant. 10 minutes, as in the recipe, turned out to be just right: already soft, but not yet sticky. Perhaps, of the three recipes with this vegetable that I have made recently, this cooking method is optimal, better than boiling or stewing. In general, I really love both broccoli and the combination of soy sauce and honey, but somehow I still haven’t thought of combining them.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Even before you start working with the ingredients, you should boil the water for the steamer (1-1.5 liters).

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the broccoli, dry it, divide it into “roses”

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the cabbage in a steamer (after boiling) and cook for 10 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

    Chop the pepper finely.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

    Combine liquid sauce ingredients...

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Beat them with a whisk (or a fork, but a whisk makes it more homogeneous) and add pepper. You understand that in the finished form (after stirring) the cabbage will already be brownish and unphotogenic, so for the “final” photo I only dropped a spoonful. Naturally, to make it tasty, you need to pour everything out and mix it.
