  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make broccoli and chicken salad? Very simple. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can use any tomatoes, regular plum or cherry. You can add or replace the vegetable part to your liking.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the chicken fillet and dry it. Salt and pepper. If you wish, you can sprinkle the fillet with other spices to taste.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat and fry the fillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. The exact frying time depends on the size of your fillet and the heat setting.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cool the finished fillet and cut into thin slices. Instead of frying, you can boil the fillet or bake it in the oven in foil. You can use smoked chicken instead of fresh chicken.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cook broccoli in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until tender. The exact time depends on the size of the florets and the degree of heating. You can use fresh or frozen broccoli. If you use frozen cabbage, you do not need to defrost it first.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the cabbage in a colander and let the water drain. If the inflorescences are large, separate them into smaller ones.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into slices. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly and dry. Instead of lettuce, you can use a ready-made salad mix.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

In a bowl, combine chicken, tomatoes, broccoli and pressed garlic. Add salt, pepper and mix everything carefully, being careful not to crush the tomatoes.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Line a plate or dish with fresh lettuce leaves. Top with roasted chicken, tomatoes and garlic broccoli.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Top the salad with mayonnaise. I did this using a pastry bag to get a beautiful thin web of mayonnaise. You can season the ingredients with mayonnaise while still in the salad bowl and mix (step 9). And then put the whole mass on lettuce leaves. Serve the salad immediately. Bon appetit!
