Then wash the champignons thoroughly and cut into slices.

Place the champignons in a frying pan and fry without adding oil - first all the water from the mushrooms should be gone.

When there is no water left, add vegetable oil and fry the mushrooms until tender.

Cut the onion into small cubes and add to the mushrooms, fry everything until tender. Add some salt.

The potatoes are boiled, cooled, peeled, the eggs are peeled, the mushrooms are fried - let's start assembling the salad)) I prepared one large portion - I put a molding ring on a plate and the first layer - grated potatoes.

On top there is a mesh of mayonnaise.

The second layer is diced smoked chicken.

Place the chicken on top of the potatoes and place a sieve of mayonnaise on top. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise to your taste. It may take more or less, you can simply coat the surface with an even layer.

The third layer is finely grated yolks; there is no need to grease them with mayonnaise.

Place a layer of fried mushrooms and onions on the yolks.

On top there is a mesh of mayonnaise.

Remove the molding ring and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to set. The peculiarity of layered salads is to allow them to soak well. If time permits, it is better to make such salads on the eve of the celebration, for example, in the evening.
