Beetroot salad with garlic and Mongolian Gorka cheese

    Next, mix the beets with garlic passed through a press and a small amount of salt. Season everything with mayonnaise and mix. Divide the beets into 2 equal parts.

    We place one part as the first layer on a flat dish on which we plan to serve the salad.

    Divide the chicken meat into small pieces and fry while stirring in vegetable oil with the addition of spices (salt, black allspice, etc.) until cooked. Cool and chop finely.

    Mix the meat with finely chopped walnuts. Add 2-3 tbsp. mayonnaise and mix well.

    Spread the meat and nut mixture in a second layer on top of the beets.

    The third layer of our Mongolian Hill salad will be boiled carrots. To do this, we need to bring water to a boil in a saucepan and boil the carrots in it for 40 minutes until tender. Let the finished carrots cool, peel them, and grate them on a fine or coarse grater.

    Mix carrots with grated cheese.

    Spread the cheese and carrot mixture in a third layer.

    Cut the prunes into small pieces and place them in the fourth layer. Lubricate this layer with mayonnaise.

It turned out to be a very tasty salad. I made a big dish - everyone ate it! I changed the recipe a little - I didn’t mix the nuts with the chicken, I laid them out in different layers - it didn’t turn out too bad either. I’ll take this recipe into my cookbook, I think it will come in handy - the holidays are coming!
