Beer pancakes

Don't let the beer in the dough bother you - it turns out delicious! You can use both light and dark beer. I used dark so that the pancakes would have a darker, richer color. The taste of beer is noticeable in the pancakes, but not much. But thanks to it, you get very beautiful holes in the finished pancakes.

I'm intrigued by the recipe, I'll have to try it. I liked the way of kneading the dough using kefir and boiling water. The pancakes turn out really lacy and with holes.

I baked pancakes with beer. I had light beer, I added just a little soda, I don’t like its taste in baked goods, although I’ll say right away that I didn’t smell or taste soda, but next time I’ll try to bake pancakes without soda at all, I think there are holes will still be due to the presence of beer in the dough. The proportions of flour and liquid are ideal, the dough is moderately liquid, the pancakes turn out thin, fit into a hole, and do not stick to the pan. The pancakes do not taste sweet - they are perfect both for stuffing with savory fillings and for serving with jam, condensed milk - they will not be too sweet. While baking the pancakes, there was a very tasty “bread” aroma in the kitchen; the finished pancakes also have a light, savory hop flavor. Thanks for the recipe, Maria!
